Beginning on May 22nd, Saint George’s will be worshipping in our beautifully renovated Parish Hall.
To celebrate and honor this transition, there will be a deconsecration of the Saint George's altar this Sunday, May 15, at 1pm.
Labyrinth
The Vestry voted to include the labyrinth in the Nave floor. We are so thankful to St Georgians for their ongoing generosity!
As the renovation project progresses, certain parts of the church will be closed off and under the control of the General Contractor. We ask that all parishioners respect the signs and not enter any of the construction areas, even if there is no one is working there. These construction areas are dangerous and we do not want anyone to get hurt. During the course of the renovation, we will be posting pictures of the progress on the St. George's website. We ask for your patience and understanding through this time of transition!
Pledges
We have already collected nearly $1,035,000 of the $1.6 million pledged for the renovation. We have made great progress towards collecting the funds we need. In June, we will have to start making commitments for the bridge loan. Therefore, we ask that if you are able, we ask that you consider contributing as much as you can towards your pledge before June. Every dollar we collect before June, is a dollar we do not have to borrow with the bridge loan.
Pews
Anyone interested in St. George's pews should speak to Joel Wood ( ) about reserving a pew and the pews must be picked up on May 21st.
