A Discussion of First Fruits & New Pledges
First Fruits
The First Fruits portion of the capital campaign is intended to encourage those who have pledged to the campaign to consider providing at least a third of their capital pledges by December 31st. Collecting capital pledges sooner will reduce the need to take out a short term loan to cover construction costs. We plan to start construction in April 2016. As you consider how much of your capital pledge you provide during First Fruits, we would ask that you first consider your pledge to the annual stewardship campaign. As important as the capital campaign is, it is more important that you support the annual stewardship campaign this fall.
New Pledges
If you have not pledged to the capital campaign, it is not too late to make a pledge. While we have had a tremendous response to the campaign thus far, the more we can raise, the better we can "Make a Space for All."
