The St. Cecilia Choir is for children in Grades 1-2. Using the Voice for Life curriculum, emphasis is placed on developing the fundamentals of singing, music theory, worship skills, and choir membership. Children engage in fun musical activities that help prepare them for a life-time of singing.
Rehearsals are held on Thursdays from 6:30pm-7:30pm, with pizza available before (6pm-6:25) or after rehearsal. The choir sings on Sundays 4-5 times a semester, and on Christmas Eve.
A yearly schedule is provided at the beginning of the year. A few extra rehearsals and field trips may be scheduled. The choir is directed by Dr. Ben Keseley and Dr. Jennifer Grotpeter.
